How to Reset a Forgotten Password on Providence MyChart Account
If you forget your password, you need to follow a few steps and the system will send you an email with a verification code, which will allow you to reset your password. If you forget your Providence MyChart account password, you can reset it by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the Providence MyChart Login Page: Go to the Providence MyChart login page (https://mychartor.providence.org/mychart/Authentication/Login?).
Step 2: Click “Forgot Password?”: On the login page, click the “Forgot password?” link, usually located below the password field.
Step 3: Enter Username: You will be prompted to enter your MyChart username. If you do not remember your username, you may need to use the “Forgot username?” link first.
Step 4: Verify Identity: After entering your username, you must verify your identity. This may involve answering security questions, providing your date of birth, and confirming other personal information.
Step 5: Receive Verification Code: Providence MyChart will send a verification code to your registered email address or mobile phone number. Check your email or text messages for this code.
Step 6: Enter Verification Code: Enter the received verification code into the provided field on the Providence MyChart page.
Once your identity is verified, you will be prompted to create a new password. Choose a strong password that meets the Providence MyChart’s security requirements, typically involving a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
Step 7: Confirm New Password: Re-enter the new password to confirm it. Ensure both entries match and click the “Submit” or “Save” button to finalize the password reset process.
Providence MyChart Login
No more waiting for a phone call or letter – view your results and your doctor’s comments within days. You may not permit any other person to access your Providence MyChart account using your username and password and the use of your account is your responsibility.
For First-time users: Click the “Sign Up” button above the User Login form. A signup screen will display. You can either register using the email address that you provided to the office or you can register by creating a username and entering a security code provided to you from the office.
- Go to the Providence MyChart login page.
- Enter your MyChart username and password in the spaces provided and
- Click Access MyChart.
